Great windscreen, with some caveats

The Givi windscreen is well made, instructions are clear and it does a great job of keeping the wind off you. It is a little fiddly to fit as you have to replace the mounting bracket, you will need a T handle hex screwdriver set. With my original screen it became too cold to ride on the open road below about 8C, with the Givi I could tolerate temperatures down to 3C due to the reduced wind chill, while wearing the same gear. The main problem with this windscreen isn't Givi's fault, it's Yamaha's - the bracket that slides up and down, that everything else attaches to, is very loose and wobbly. You can find numerous posts online where people fitting aftermarket windscreens find them too wobbly, because the bracket wasn't intended to carry so much weight perhaps. I fixed it by adding extra washers and some plastic cable ties to hold it steady. The Givi screen itself secures snugly to the Yamaha mount with the bolts Givi provides, the fault isn't with Givi's product at all.
