The legends are true! White helmets invoke a primal fear in other road users, causing heavy traffic to mysteriously part and passing bays and slow vehicles lanes to become a destination for aggressive but slow Ford Rangers that wouldn't normally know what a rear view mirror or indicator was. The helmet itself is super comfortable and the vents work, while being simple to operate. Your options are open or closed. Simple is good! The internal sun visor has a bluish tint which helps make everything clear while maintaining contrast when dipping in and out of shade in Winter sunshine. I haven't quite acclimated to the location of the sun visor slide, but do appreciate it's ratchet operation and push button release. The vision port is humungous! Peripheral vision is not impacted at all, while the vertical depth is also good. No neck strain to see out when tucked in. The flip front is simple to operate, even with gloved fingers and the lock works well. Still learning to find it though. While heavy, the weight of the helmet is distributed in a way that means it doesn't feel awkward in any head position. The only negative is a bit of extra wind noise with the top vent open, but I use ear plugs anyway so it isn't a major. Once again, the service from Motozone was awesome. I can't recommend these folks enough.
