DESCRIPTION
Hot Rods began with a single connecting rod and has since built a reputation over nearly two decades for excellence in aftermarket replacement rods. With continuously improved designs and an expanding line of applications, Hot Rods remains not only "The Original" but also the best aftermarket replacement rod available.
All Hot Rods rods are crafted from 8620 case-hardened steel and undergo a specialized forging process to enhance grain flow and dimensional consistency, ensuring exceptional strength.
To improve fatigue durability, Hot Rods rods are shot-peened using stainless steel shot. This process removes stress risers and creates smoothly blended radii, resulting in one of the most durable connecting rods available.
Hot Rods kits include only the most advanced and durable bearings. These bearings are case-hardened and silver-coated, matching the toughness and reliability of the rods.
Crank pins are subjected to the same rigorous standards, created from hot-rolled ASTM 4115 steel and case-hardened to a hardness level of 58-62 Rc.

- Double-honed bearing surfaces for reliable, high RPM performance.
- Double-drilled small ends for increased wrist pin lubrication.
- Bronze bushings in the small end of all four-stroke rods to maximize durability under high loads and prevent galling.
- Specially designed vent slots in the large end of all two-stroke rods for improved lubrication.
- Side scalloping on the large end to minimize high RPM rod distortion.

Orders can be shipped from either Auckland, Hamilton, Kihikihi, New Plymouth, Wellington or Christchurch warehouses. Depending on the location of items you have ordered, Motozone will ship your purchase from the closest location where possible.
New Zealand
Free shipping on order over $199.00.
For orders under $199.00, shipping throughout New Zealand is $7.99 for Urban and $12.99 for Rural Shipping.
In most cases shipping is overnight however it can take 2-3 days depending on time/day the order was placed. If delivery is to a rural address please allow a couple of extra days. We can ship to your place of work!

Free shipping on order over $199.00.
For orders under $199.00, shipping throughout Australia is $19.99
Delivery takes approx. 5-10 days delivery.
RETURNS
RETURNS
Any goods purchased from Motozone can be returned within 30 days of receipt for refund or exchange.
The goods must be returned new, unused, unaltered, not previously installed, and in a sellable condition with all of the original packaging.
This right of return will not cover items that are special orders and found to be an incorrect fit, this is the responsibility of the purchaser, however all other standard warranties will apply.
Freight costs will not be refunded.
