DESCRIPTION
A relatively new company in the minds of the general public, Mobius and the X8 have actually been worn and tested by Ryan Villopoto since late 2012. Slipped on rather than strapped on, the innovative X8 is held in place by a continuous cable and backing plate system that wraps around the leg and provides natural but firm support. Tightened and released by a front dial, the system is extremely easy to put on and adjust throughout the day. Its overlapping joint provides no gap in coverage ensuring roost and the handlebar won’t make contact with your knee. The PIM glass filled nylon construction is very light and the sleek design makes gripping the bike very easy and comfortable. The X8 Knee Brace is the most protective, comfortable brace on the market, utilizing innovative patented technology which incorporates the CCRS (Continuous Cable Routing System) to form an unparalleled system of support and protection. The forged CNC machined dial makes fit adjustments on the fly and through pants easy. Fully lined with plush EVA foam, a comfortable, impact-absorbing surrounding is created. Includes one pair of braces and two extra sets of patellar shell pads for a precise fit.
Injection molded shells
20% Glass Filled Nylon shells are designed to be flexible in places to allow the shells to conform to the user's leg for better fit, comfort and stability, and designed to be rigid where necessary to resist excessive movement and provide impact resistance.
Forged Aluminum hinges
The hinges are made of CNC Forged 6061 T-6 aluminum for maximum strength.
UHMWPE Cable
The cable is made with an Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene Fiber. This material is being used in many advanced applications such as the aerospace industry and the military. It is the latest replacement material for Kevlar. It is known for its high tensile, bending and abrasion strength.
Tendon Back Plate
The Tendon Back Plate is uniquely designed to route the cable around the users leg in strategic locations to reinforce the main ligaments of the knee. The Tendon Back Plate is made from a special flexible Kraton material designed to grip the users leg and prevent migration.
Foam Padding
The Foam Padding is made from closed cell ethyl vinyl acetate (EVA) foam. The EVA foam pads are designed to conform to the user's unique leg shape, providing maximum comfort and control while gripping the users leg and preventing migration. Closed cell EVA Foam won’t absorb moisture (sweat), so they are odorless and easy to clean.
Straps
The Velcro straps are designed to be comfortable and fully adjustable. Thermo Plastic Rubber (TPR) Pull Tabs are durable, making the straps easy to use, and are numbered to prompt the user to tighten the straps in the correct order to ensure proper fit.
Extension Stops
The braces come with optional degrees of extension stops to limit full extension if desired. The extension stop installed on the brace is 0 degrees, and included are 4, 8 and 12 degree stops.

For orders under $149.00, shipping throughout New Zealand is $7.99 for Urban and $12.99 for Rural Shipping.
In most cases shipping is overnight however it can take 2-3 days depending on time/day the order was placed. If delivery is to a rural address please allow a couple of extra days. We can ship to your place of work!

RETURNS
Any goods purchased from Motozone can be returned within 30 days of receipt for refund or exchange.
The goods must be returned new, unused, unaltered, not previously installed, and in a sellable condition with all of the original packaging.
This right of return will not cover items that are special orders and found to be an incorrect fit, this is the responsibility of the purchaser, however all other standard warranties will apply.
Freight costs will not be refunded.
