Could have done with a set of installation instructions for the base, but anyone reading this review can just do what I did and Google the instructions - then you'll find that the base is actually two pieces and work out how to separate them so you can bolt it down. After that it was easy: had no problem lining up some of the diamond-shaped mounting points with holes in my tail rack, inserted the metal diamonds and bolts and ******* it down. It also came with metal brackets to fit on tail racks that don't have mounting holes. Top box locks in firmly and securely, is easy to open and to remove. 30-litres is just enough to fit my largest spare full-face helmet. Also big enough to fit a few groceries or the takeaways. It's certainly made my life a lot easier!
