The Gaerne SG12 Adult MX Boots have long set the standard in motocross footwear. Designed for riders who demand maximum protection without sacrificing feel, the SG12 delivers race-proven performance with uncompromising build quality.
At the core of the boot is Gaerne’s Dual Stage Pivot System (DSPS), providing outstanding lateral support while limiting hyperextension and hyperflexion. This system allows the foot to move naturally on the pegs, delivering confident control when braking, shifting and charging through rough sections.
Protection is handled by a PU-injected front shin plate and a strategically designed heel cup, while the precision-shaped toe box improves shift feel and overall bike feedback. The closure system uses four lightweight, replaceable buckles with rubber grip inserts, paired with a Velcro top strap for a secure, adjustable fit. The upper buckles can be repositioned to accommodate knee braces or larger calves.
Inside, Gaerne Memory Cell Foam molds to the rider’s ankle for a supportive, custom feel. The molded insole provides proper foot support, with shock-absorbing material in the heel and ventilation in the forefoot to keep temperatures under control during long motos.
Finished with Goodyear Welted artisanal construction, the SG12 offers a rock-solid structure with the option to resole, extending the life of the boot well beyond standard MX footwear. The dual composite sole delivers excellent traction on cross-pegs, even in wet and muddy conditions. Fully CE certified and proudly made in Italy, the SG12 remains a gold standard for serious motocross riders.

Orders can be shipped from either Auckland, Hamilton, Kihikihi, New Plymouth, Wellington or Christchurch warehouses. Depending on the location of items you have ordered, Motozone will ship your purchase from the closest location where possible.

Free shipping on order over $199.00.
For orders under $199.00, shipping throughout New Zealand is $7.99 for Urban and $12.99 for Rural Shipping.
In most cases shipping is overnight however it can take 2-3 days depending on time/day the order was placed. If delivery is to a rural address please allow a couple of extra days. We can ship to your place of work!

RETURNS
RETURNS
Any goods purchased from Motozone can be returned within 30 days of receipt for refund or exchange.
The goods must be returned new, unused, unaltered, not previously installed, and in a sellable condition with all of the original packaging.
This right of return will not cover items that are special orders and found to be an incorrect fit, this is the responsibility of the purchaser, however all other standard warranties will apply.
Freight costs will not be refunded.
