DESCRIPTION
The Motobatt MLX4U Pro Lithium Battery is a lightweight, high-performance motorcycle starting battery designed to replace a range of common YTX and YTZ battery sizes, including YTX5L-BS, YTZ6S, YTZ7S, YTX7L-BS and YTZ8V.
Around three times lighter than a conventional lead-acid battery, the MLX4U combines strong cranking performance with Motobatt's Cell Balancing Circuit (CBC) and built-in battery protection technology for reliable starting and long service life.

Motobatt's Cell Balancing Circuit (CBC) dynamically controls the charging and discharging of the individual lithium cells during operation.
Unlike systems that only balance cells while connected to a charger, Motobatt's CBC operates while the battery is in use, helping maintain cell balance, performance and battery life.
The CBC technology also allows the battery to be recharged when discharged below 10V, although repeated deep discharging can reduce capacity and rechargeability.
Built-In Battery Protection
The MLX4U incorporates electronic protection to help prevent damaging operating conditions.
~ Over-charge protection: Activates when battery voltage reaches 15.6V or an individual cell reaches 3.90V
~ Over-discharge protection: Activates when battery voltage remains below 8.0V for longer than seven seconds
~ Cell balancing: Continuously manages the lithium cells for consistent operation

Motobatt Pro Lithium batteries require different charging and maintenance procedures from conventional lead-acid batteries.
~ Only use a lithium-compatible battery charger
~ Motobatt recommends its Tech 1 or Fat Boy compatible chargers
~ Do not use a conventional lead-acid-only charger
~ Designed as a high-performance starting battery, not for applications with continuous parasitic battery drain
~ Accessories such as alarms, clocks and heated grips can create parasitic drain depending on how they are wired

Orders can be shipped from either Auckland, Hamilton, Kihikihi, New Plymouth, Wellington or Christchurch warehouses. Depending on the location of items you have ordered, Motozone will ship your purchase from the closest location where possible.

Free shipping on order over $199.00.
For orders under $199.00, shipping throughout New Zealand is $7.99 for Urban and $12.99 for Rural Shipping.
In most cases shipping is overnight however it can take 2-3 days depending on time/day the order was placed. If delivery is to a rural address please allow a couple of extra days. We can ship to your place of work!

Delivery takes approx. 5-10 days delivery.
RETURNS
RETURNS
Any goods purchased from Motozone can be returned within 30 days of receipt for refund or exchange.
The goods must be returned new, unused, unaltered, not previously installed, and in a sellable condition with all of the original packaging.
This right of return will not cover items that are special orders and found to be an incorrect fit, this is the responsibility of the purchaser, however all other standard warranties will apply.
Freight costs will not be refunded.
